The most popular destination for STAESA's volunteers. In general people are extremely friendly in Ghana and you will be humbled by their hospitality. But, there is real poverty in Ghana and you will soon realize that you are far richer and more fortunate than most local people you meet. You will probably attract your fair share of souvenir hawkers and beggars, but try and take the time to meet ordinary people going about their day to day business too. The experience will be worth it. Don't be afraid to step out of your house, just take some precautions. Weather in Ghana
The climate of Ghana is tropical and there are two main seasons: the wet and the dry seasons. North of Ghana experiences its rainy season from March to November while South Ghana experiences its rainy season from April to mid-November. The tropical climate of Ghana is relatively mild for its latitude. The harmattan, a dry desert wind, blows in north-east Ghana from December to March, lowering the humidity and causing hot days and cool nights in northern part of Ghana

Family program
Family volunteering enables families with children to join volunteer projects. This way they they can share the volunteer experience and help the community or the environment together with their loved ones by their side. Volunteering is the act of dedicating time to a project that is focused on improving the circumstances of a community or the environment.
Combo program
STAESA’s combo volunteering program allows you to explore so many countries in Africa while impacting lives and immersing oneself in the unique culture of Africa. You as individual or with your family or with your friends can choose to volunteer in more than two countries and still pay very less program fees. Together with our volunteers we design the program.
My Gap year
STAESA’s Gap year volunteer program is a semester or full year academics break while pursuing experiential learning that equips you with valuable life skills and encourages personal development . This program enables you to discover yourself and consider what kind of education or carrier you want to pursue, while having a positive impact on the people you meet.
Group program
STAESA’s group volunteering involves activity as a group, whether with friends, family, colleagues. acquaintances or companies. Our program involves a specific new project with a set time frame, or with our ongoing commitment. At the end of the program you will build upon your personal relationship with people, networking, brainstorming. getting things done.
ORPHANAGE

Our societies benefit when you help these orphan children, destitute, outcast, unloved, needy, sick, handicapped and/or dying child . Instead of harming themselves and others, they grow up to be responsible, healthy, adults that give back to the community they live in instead of taking away from it. HEALTH CARE DENTAL

TEACHING

This is unpaid position. The program provides you with lot of experience while working with local professionals. you don't want to miss this opportunity. HUMAN RIGHT

Gender equality is a basic human right, and it is also fundamental to having a peaceful, prosperous society.
But children, girls and women continue to face significant challenges in most villages. Women are typically underrepresented in power and decision-making roles, Children are abuse and get involved in child labour and girls are raped or forced to drop out of school. There are lot of work here.
MICRO-FINANCE

Our microfinance program is a way to promote and provide economic development, employment and growth through the support of creating sustainable small businesses, helping existing micro-entrepreneurs and small businesses. The program is design in such a way that it provides an opportunity for the poor to manage their finances more effectively and take advantage of economic opportunities while managing the risks. The women are a made aware of giving back 10% of the profit made to another set of women as a start up capital.

ECO-TOURISM

COACHING

Our Coaching program has a very significant role in our communities. The three most popular mainstream sports in our program are soccer, basketball and long tennis. This is a very busy program where you will be working between two programs. As a volunteer coach, you will be attached with a school and an orphanage and if you are a medical health person, we would attach you with a hospital. Mostly the coaching program starts in the afternoon so in the morning you will be in the school or the orphanage or in the hospital. Get ready for this interesting program.
WATER AND SANITATION

Our water supply and sanitation program is one of a logistical challenge to provide clean water and sustainable sanitation system in our communities. This program in fundraising. IT/COMPUTER/GRAPHIC DESI

We are in an era of computers and our communities are greatly far behind in the computer world. Almost every school in our communities today teaches computer science. We need volunteers to give the children computer lessons. The Information Age (also known as the Computer Age, Digital Age or Media Age) is not yet fully materialized in our villages. Somebody like you is needed to help the children.
GAP PROGRAM

FAMILY PROGRAM

volunteer once a lifetime with your family. The program was established to give an opportunity to Mummy, Daddy and the children to give back to the community. This program is to enrich you as a family and the lives of the poor in our community. You will be working as a family in a local farm where crops grown and donated to the poor in the community, or work with our food parcel program or work in a school or an orphanage or in the hospital and also have family sightseeing.
SANITARY PAD PROJECT

This is one of the amazing program as a volunteer or as an intern you will like to add to your program upon arrival. This is really a life changing program. The girls will forever be grateful to you. We visit schools to distribute sanitary pads to the girls. As part of our school health promotion program, we use the sanitary pad project as one of our channels for promotion menstrual hygiene for school going adolescents. This program is helping the girls a lot. The program reduced low attendance at the schools during the menstruation periods. We need you to be part of this program.
