Unlike other organizations where you fundraised for a project and still pay for your program fee, in STAESA this is a complete free program. No program fee, No application fee, No deposit. At the end of the program volunteers received certificate of participation.
The breakdown of your fundraised is as follows:( all funds raised are handled by the volunteers on site)

CONSTRUCTION
Community Library in Kpando: The children of this community really need a library. STAESA and Lies sharing in the same vision to bring library to door steps of children in the communities and by so doing we promoting reading among the children. This project when completed, will also help us organized after school program for slow learners kids in the community. The project is already started and we need more volunteers and funds to complete this great project. Any funds raised on the project is handled by the volunteers on the project.

New toilet is needed in a school: In one our visit to one of the schools in Aflao, Ghana, This is what we found out. A whole school of over 300 kids population can not be proud of a single toilet for the kids. The existing toilet is closed due to its deplorable state. It is really very sad. The kids walking out of the school compound to go to a toilet outside the school. This really dangerous. In a case where a child is having a running stomach, its very easy for that child to do everything on him or herself. Please come and lets do something about this. Any funds raised on the project is handled by the volunteers on the project.

Very simple Kitchen/Dinning hall needed for the children in a school: Our travel to Uganda really paid off to see how children are suffering. Our working visit to see school was really heart breaking to see the children sitting on logs in an open shelter call dining hall having breakfast. We couldn't take it at all hence our desire to have you to come and help. Similar project is needed in Malawi and Kenya. Please come and lets do something about this. You have to visit this school in Uganda and the shelters in both Malawi and Kenya to see things for yourself. Any funds raised for the project is handled by the volunteers on the project. New shacks - a building made with roofing sheets: You only hear about this country but you dont know the story of the people. life is not easy for those especially living in the informal settlements in South Africa. Face with diseases especially HIV/AIDS, place to rest their heads after hard work of the day, hunger and severe poverty. In one of our visit to this informal settlement we saw how really the people are suffering and all that they need is simple house made of roofing sheets. We have also noticed some of the houses owned by the aged need a renovation. So you have choice to build a new one or help in the renovation of the old one. Any funds raised for the project is handled by the volunteers on the project.

Building new sleeping place/Renovating girls place: The situation in the orphanage in Kenya really call for urgent action to put smile on the faces of the orphans. The place of sleep for both boys and girls at the orphanage are really bad and its nothing to write home with. The orphanage is very poor and they really need help to build new dormitory for the boys and to renovate the girls dormitory. Lets join hands together and help this orphanage. The children in orphanage will forever be grateful. Kenya can be very hot and one wonders how the children sleep in the afternoon or at night during hot season Any funds raised for the project is handled by the volunteers on the project.

EXISTING PROJECTS
Completion of classroom blocks: Its not good at all to learn in an complete building, No doors, no windows and the floors are full of sand and when it rains its even worse. After school is over, where the schools have no place to keep the furniture of the children, the children have to carry their furniture home and carry them back to school the next day. Lets go to these schools to complete the buildings. Fix the doors, the windows, floors, plastering and painting. These projects are in Ghana, Uganda and Tanzania. Women Development Program (Job creation and business enlargement): Women Entrepreneurs Africa is a STAESA initiative to make women economically independent, self sustainable business women, eliminating poverty, eradicating unemployment, create jobs, business incubation and business enlargement. This is a program that harness business ideas and ethics in the women, help in the development of this business or help in the enlargement of the existing business. In both cases we train these women in their area of trades, administration, book keeping, banking, investment, fundraising. At the end of the program these women are giving further cash to enlarge their businesses while others use the cash received to start their business. Both these set of women further help other women with their contribution to begin their business. This project is in Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Kenya, Tanzania,, Uganda, Lesotho, South Africa, Malawi, Types of projects: Sowing machine for girls, Vegetable and fruits farming, local drink production, women in farming, goat/kitchen(poultry) farming, Women in different business, local food processing factory, bakery, women in weaving factory. women in medicated moringa soap, ordinary detergent, batik making tie and dye. Water is really life. Our visit to these villages made us to value every single drop of water from our taps at home. In thses villages good drinking water is needed. Most of the rivers used in these villages are really not good for drinking but there is no any other options hence compulsory to drinking these dirty waters, The same water the villages use to wash their clothes and animals also drinking. We have adopted a very cheap and simple way to give water . Our mechanized hand dug well is is working. Let's go and change lives in these villages. This project is in Ghana, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, You can choose to go to more than one countries or just go to one country. Long Tennis and basketball courts. Its amazing how these two sport is gaining a strong ground in Africa. Ghana, Togo and South Africa are not left out. The kids are really doing very well in these two sports. Its our mission to see these two sports well developed in Africa. If you are some with good knowledge in these two sports then join in Ghana or Togo, or South Africa to help the children. We renovating and building new basketball courts and long tennis courts in Ghana, Togo, and South Africa. You can choose to go to more than two countries. Shoe making factory for ladies. This is a special and very unique project that needs urgent help. for the first time in the area of Aflao where a shoe specialist voluntarily want to create jobs for women in the community. He shared in our vision to make women economically dependent by training the women in shoe making and leather works. This project is looking forward to train the first badge of women of 15 to 20 for three months to make them specialist in shoe making. After the first badge, we expect the next badge will increase. In the course of the training in leather works and shoe making, STAESA in conjunction with the volunteers will take the women in book keeping, IT, banking, drawing, investments, networking. At the end of the entire training, the women will be giving a start up capital to start their own shoe making business. School books, school uniforms, school furniture and school shoes. Its always time to provide, school books, school uniforms, school furniture and school shoes for the poor kids who are really interested to be at school in Ghana, Kenya and Togo. This is a very good project where any funds raised are not wasted at all. If you really want to see the smiles and joy on the faces of these kids in Africa, then join us anytime this year to make a different while immersing yourself into the culture of the people. Christmas Project. Christmas is almost here again and we have already started started putting up program for the children in South Africa. This time we are including Ghana. In the past we organized Christmas gifts for 400 children with the help of Ashley. Now with your help we will able to put smiles on the faces of these kids again this year Christmas. Winter project- food parcel/blanket Project. Winter is almost here! The cold front is coming! The poor in the informal settlement are going to suffer again in South Africa and also still there is a severe poverty in the informal settlement and food is very expensive for the poor especially living in the informal settlement. we putting up programs again this year to give blankets for the cold and food to the poor living in the informal settlement. Providing T-shirts. The T-shirt project is on going to provide colorful t-shirt for the orphans in Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi. This year will be including Ghana, Togo and Benin where we will provide t-shirt and also teach the orphans how to make t-shirts for themselves. This is not as major project.
